To date, our Senior Leadership Team has participated in two Leading for Racial Equity professional development sessions. The first, “What’s Race Got to Do With It” strives to have participants share common language on how KIPP defines racism, build community, and gain understanding on our purpose in working towards racial justice and anti-oppression.  The second session, “Connecting the Self to the Work: Internalizing Anti-Racism” helps participants identify personal shifts that will support our work towards racial justice, and gain understanding of intersectionality, identity, and affinity spaces.  The resources listed above are those shared for use during those professional development sessions.
