We model and expect good behavior and teach students to develop strategies for focus and self-control. Students receive a block of character education each day.
Students are recognized daily through positive referrals read on our morning announcements. Each month a student from each grade level upholding excellent character is selected to join the School Leader in a trip in the Chicken Limo to a special lunch! Not only do we encourage excellent character- but it is recognized and celebrated as well!
As part of our extended school day model, KIPP VOICE students receive exposure to music, health, physical education, world cultures, and science lab. Fourth grade no longer gets band as part of our programing. Our middle school students will be learning to read music and piano vs. band. We will be adding art to the specials list in 2022-2023.
Our students have an opportunity to participate in activities after the school day. This includes choir, flag football, robotics club, and personalized tutoring.
