After being quizzed on the roles plants play in keeping humanity and the animal world alive, a group of fifth-, sixth- and seventh-grade students from Jacksonville’s KIPP Impact Middle School got their hands dirty. The middle school’s teaching garden was sponsored by the American Heart Association and funded by FIS, a Jacksonville-based banking and payment technology company.
